A Cost-Effective Retrieval Service
The primary goal of CSCRC is to provide each of the stores
it serves with a cart inventory sufficient to enable maximum
cart utilization at a controllable cost that is significantly
less than that paid in the past. CSCRC has consistantly
been able to maintain this goal with a price increase of
only one dollar per delivery over the last five years. On
average, our customer base, in the aggregate, pays approximately
one dollar per cart retrieved.
Use of a system of preprinted delivery tickets enables
CSCRC to control the cart retrieval of each store within
the grid network via a proprietary reporting system, which
reflects actual and scheduled deliveries per day and per
week for every store within the program.
Regular review and monitoring of the respective retrieval
schedules significantly reduces the need for replacement
of lost carts; thus, minimizing the associated expense to
our customers.
CSCRC, at our customers' request, routinely transfers carts
from one store to another at approximately one half the
rates charged by competing entities.
Additional Services:
Summary notices reflecting the California State Law concerning shopping
carts and the toll free telephone number for cart retrieval will be applied to
all carts at no charge.
Upon request, all carts will be stamped with the appropriate store number at
a nominal cost.
Who can join?
The shopping cart retrieval program is available to any
retailer, including all supermarkets, mass merchandisers,
department stores, home improvement stores and drug stores.
